Episode 1: Dark Heresy

Games Workshop released the long-awaited Dark Heresy roleplaying game (set in the Warhammer 40K universe) on 25-Jan-2008 and it is one of the best roleplaying game products I’ve seen in years. Fan response was overwhelmingly positive and the book was entirely sold out within a few days. But this is a GW product and, true to form, within three days they completely nuked it.

It looks like The 40k RPG might be breathing once again! GW annoucned today that Fantasy Flight Games will be taking over production of various non-mini based lines (see http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/PDF/pr-2008-GamesWorkshop-Sabertooth.pdf ) including, Universal Fighting System CCG, the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay RPG, and the new Dark Heresy RPG.
