The Christmas season is upon us and, even though we're in the midst of tough economic times, it's time to band together and help out those even less fortunate in other parts of the world. I have set up a fundraising site to purchase two dairy cows through World Vision Canada's gift catalogue for impoverished families overseas. Additionally, Swords Edge Publishing and The Accidental Survivors have stepped up in a big way by donating all of their December profits to this effort.
File this one under "financial crisis," I guess... Topps announced on 10-Nov that WizKids was ceasing operations, effective immediately. D'oh.
Chuck Tinsley, Lonnie Ezell, and (sometimes) History Dave are the hosts of what is, in my opinion, the "grand-daddy of them all" in terms of RPG-related podcasts: The Dragon's Landing Inn.
Wizards of the Coast recently announced some major changes to the D&D Miniatures line, including an end to the support of the skirmish game and making miniatures available in non-randomized packs.
