Venerable Dungeons and Dragons pioneer Gary Gygax passed away at the age of 69. Although I never knew the man personally I pay homage to him and the hobby he helped create in today’s epiosde.

Lucasfilm filed papers in January of 2008 asserting that Gen Con owes them $650,000, $150,000 of which represents the proceeds from a charity auction that were to go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Additional, on February 15th of 2008, Gen Con filed for Chapter 11. Are these two events related? It would seem so from my vantage-point. Here are some links:
