Lucasfilm filed papers in January of 2008 asserting that Gen Con owes them $650,000, $150,000 of which represents the proceeds from a charity auction that were to go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Additional, on February 15th of 2008, Gen Con filed for Chapter 11. Are these two events related? It would seem so from my vantage-point. Here are some links:
